Hi
Apple Watch Series 2 is water resistant, not waterproof. The watch's water resistance means that it:
- May be used for shallow-water activities (eg swimming in a pool or ocean).
- Should not be used for activities involving submersion below shallow depth or high-velocity water (including scuba diving or waterskiing).
Series 2 models remain water resistant regardless of whether or not you enable Water Lock before exposing them to water.
If your watch gets wet under other circumstances than tracking a swimming workout or than when Water Lock has been turned on beforehand, follow these steps to manually clear water from it:
Swipe up on the bottom of the watch face to open Control Center > tap on Water Lock > turn the Digital Crown to immediately unlock the screen again and to clear any water from inside the speaker.
